Happy New Year!
Cultivate Global has had an exciting year! As we reflect, we are very grateful for the doors the Lord has opened to make an optimistic dream a reality. In September we were able to officially launch Cultivate Global. In November we were officially approved by the IRS as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. In early December we were able to launch our website. So much has happened in such a short period of time that we don’t hesitate to believe that the Lord had His guiding hand on every approval, launch, and timeline.
With your support and generosity, we were able to raise nearly 20% of our $85,000 goal for 2023, months before we even planned to fundraise. To close out 2022, we were able to wire $5,000 to Cornerstone Schools of Africa (CSA), our partners in Tanzania. This wire was able to provide minor upgrades to the facilities as well as essential school supplies for the upcoming school year.
In 2023, our goal is to finish the $85,000 phase 1 and continue to work on the details and budgets for phases 2-3 on the expansion of the CSA school system. A few from our team are headed to Tanzania in May because of your support and God’s goodness to us.
Our mission to serve globally through the ministry in agriculture development and education, and our vision to efficiently produce self-sustainable education, profitability, and agriculture in rural Tanzania, does not happen as a result of a single person. It’s been humbling and a blessing to see God work so clearly around me through people with similar hearts. As we work together, it will be such a joy to continue to see The Gospel of Jesus Christ reach new and unreached hearts through a developing agricultural-emphasized school system.
I’ve said before and I’ll say again, God does not need us or our resources to do incredible things. However, He has chosen to use us. What a privilege and a joy that is! We, and so many others in Tanzania, are so grateful for you and your support.
